Fashion Revolution Day

Fashion Revolution are a growing Ethical fashion movement who's aim is to bring awareness and change towards the ethics of clothes manufacture. It all started with the Rana Plaza factory disaster in Bangladesh where over 1 thousand workers lost their lives.

Addressing Diversity in Fashion

For many decades the face of fashion has been the young, beautiful, tall and slim white woman. As the times change we have seen the recognition for the need of diversity has become more prominent.
There have been quite a few striking successes from global ad campaigns and brands that aren't afraid to celebrate the real diversity that exists in the world.

50 Years of Dolce & Gabbana

I grabbed this '50 years of Dolce & Gabbana' book off the shelf in hope to quickly find some images that I'd be able to reference for the corsetry project that I'm doing at college. What I didn't expect, was to be sitting in the library for three quarters of an hour just flicking through the massive book that it is. I fell in love with the sensual and sophisticated look of the models (especially the hairstyles).
These are most of the stunning photographs that I had to capture for myself, just because I felt incredibly inspired by them.

NYFW Fall 2014/15 | Favourites

The start to a month long of back-to-back shows from the worlds fashion capitals began in New York and here are the ones that blew me away.

December Wishlist 2013

Christmas wishlist 2013

Buckle boots - Zara £80 | Dress - Zara £30 | Grey top - Zara £25 | Jeans - ASOS £35 | Jacket - H&M £40 | Boots - Vagabond £90 | Skort - Zara £26 | Sequin top - Topshop £42 | Skull - Urban Outfitters £15 | Vinyl - Amazon £19

Eeee it's December already. I've been going into West London at least twice a week over the past month just to run a few errands, and of course you can't not look into a few shops whilst walking through Oxford Street right?
Zara is my favourite shop for clothes but I am OBSESSED with 95% of what they have at the mo'. I've also introduced a couple of my friends to Zara and they absolutely love it as well... It just puzzles me how they hadn't known about it years ago. I'm also liking the 'Biker' look... meaning lots of leather and metal accessories. The other few things I'm lusting over are gorgeous, like the skull and sequin top. Lastly, as I received a couple for gift on my birthday & fell in love,  I thought it was about time I started collecting vinyl records of my favourite albums and/or singles just like my mom started doing when she was my age!

Thanks for reading  =) x

October Favourites

Firstly, woah where has the year gone?! I know we always say it at this time of year but, for 2013 it's especially true. Anyway, I have been obsessed with these items throughout the month and, I'm quite excited to share them with you.

The Playlist

My love for music was definitely inherited from my parents, mostly my mom though -- who used to be a musician back in the 80's. I mention in my bio that I am addicted to music. That is no lie. My life revolves around songs and playlists. Even right now, I'm sat writing this post with Coldplay's 'Live 2003' album on in the background, he,he.

Here's just a compilation of old and new songs I've been loving recently.
Have a good evening or day, wherever you are
