First ideas for my AW13 wardrobe

Jumper, Zara | Jeans, H&M | Bra, Rosie for M&S | Shirt, UNIQLO | Boots, Kurt Geiger | Scarf, Liberty | Perfume, Givenchy very irrésistible | Lipstick, Lipstick Queen in 'Rouge sinner' | Rings, Accessorize | Nail polish, Essie

Woo! My first proper post, and I'm ready to tell you about some new items I hope will soon make their way into my wardrobe for the coming autumn months - although, reviewing the significant bank balance decrease after this summer I may be waiting a while *sigh* but, moving on...

ELLE UK's October issue has given me quite a bit of inspiration especially for colours. The first thing to catch my eye was the black, slightly cropped, angora sweater - that just looks soo dreamy to wear - over a long pencil skirt as styled on the Zara website or more so for everyday with a pair of jeans. I found some I finally like from H&M which are really nice.

I've been lusting over the Kurt Geiger Sadie leather boots ever since I tried them on this time last year and ooh my: comfy, stylish, but sadly so expensive. I think they'll look good with a casual outfit ,likewise when dressing up, too.

The plain shirt is one of a few 'simple' pieces I need, and the silk, lace bra from Rosie Huntington-Whitely's collection is one of those 'fancy' items you treat yourself too now & again, hehe. Lastly, there's the tartan scarf that's always going to be around. A lot of  my choices are some ways of incorporating a bit of autumn 2013 trends into my style.

Onto the other small stuff - perfume to be exact. The new Givenchy one is gorgeous! It's very floral and fresh, two scents I hardly wear (I've always seemed to love sweet smells more). The hint of spice makes it sexy and feminine... so perfect for autumn. Along with that, stained lips are big this season and if like me, you're not a full on lippy in the day kinda girl then it seems like the perf'' alternative. My favourite shades are dark/rusty reds or plums
